There's a weird tension in the Rust Belt right now. You're still doing your usual runs, still stacking loot, but you can feel Expedition 3 closing in. If you're the type who likes to plan ahead, it's worth taking stock of your ARC Raiders Items situation early, because the seasonal reset doesn't care how hard you grinded last month. Embark's prestige loop is simple on paper and painful in practice: you build a caravan, you cash in what you've earned, and you start fresh with permanent advantages that only show up if you commit.

Based on how the last cycle was handled, a mid-April 2026 kick-off looks likely, with Expedition 2 wrapping in early March. That sounds like loads of time. It isn't. The submission window for your caravan usually lands fast and stays open for only a few days, and that's the part people mess up. You don't want to be that player sitting on a full stash, watching the timer run out because you forgot to lock your cargo. If you're even thinking about prestiging, start organising your pile now—sell the junk, keep the value, and don't assume you'll "do it later."

If you're farming for caravan requirements, the Dam Battlegrounds route through the Hydroponic Dome Complex tends to be the cleanest way to target the rarer parts. Broken Guidance Systems and Advanced Electrical Components are the usual pain points, and those rooms get crowded when the season's nearly over. Go early, go light, and extract before you get greedy. A lot of folks lose progress here by over-staying for one more container. Take what you came for and bounce. You'll thank yourself when the map turns into a third-party festival near the deadline.

The big reason people do Expedition resets is the permanent skill points. The exchange is pretty clear: every 600,000 credits of stash value converts into one point, and you can bank up to five points if you hit three million. That early boost changes everything. Your next Raider comes out of the gate with a real build instead of a "make-do" loadout, and you spend less time stuck in the weak crafting loop. You'll also pick up permanent account perks like more stash space and profile badges, plus temporary bonuses next cycle—better crafting yields, cheaper repairs, and faster XP. It's a harsh trade, but it keeps the game from turning into a museum of untouched gear.

People complain because wiping months of hoarding feels awful, and yeah, it does. But if you've ever loaded into a new cycle and felt that early-game drag, those permanent edges matter more than you expect. The trick is deciding what "enough" looks like before the rush hits, then sticking to it. Pick a target stash value, plan your last few sessions, and funnel your runs toward the materials that always bottleneck, including anything that counts as ARC Raiders Uncommon Material so you're not scrambling during the tight hand-in window.
