If a PKer attacks you, escaping is easy-just dip into a crypt, and you're gone. On top of RuneScape gold item drops, Barrows provides runes, supply drops, and points, making it valuable throughout the entire DMM cycle.

Breaches (High Risk, Massive Reward)

Breaches are one of the most lucrative activities in Deadman Mode.

These events spawn powerful NPCs that act like loot piñatas, dropping everything from rune gear and potions to exclusive Deadman items worth tens or even hundreds of millions of GP.

Key things to know:

You earn 1 point per damage dealt, up to 5,000 points per day

There are three breaches daily (at fixed UTC times)

Loot can be alched, sold, or swapped for massive profits

You can attend breaches in multi-combat (higher risk, higher reward) or singles for safer farming. Even under protection, breaches are viable, making them perfect for newer accounts if timed correctly. Never skip breaches-they're simply too profitable.

Grand Exchange Flipping (100% Safe)

If you want zero PvP risk, GE flipping is absurdly strong in Deadman Mode.

After breaches, players dump huge amounts of loot onto the Grand Exchange, often underpricing items massively just to sell fast. This creates enormous margins.

The basic method:

Check instant buy and sell prices

Place buy offers slightly above the highest buyer

Resell slightly below the lowest seller

Margins of 300k to 1M+ per item are common, especially right after breaches. Rune items, mystic gear, and alchables are particularly good targets. This method requires patience, not combat skills-and it's completely safe.

Skilling with Sigils (AFK & Consistent)

Skilling is another underrated money maker in Deadman Mode, especially with the right sigils.

Two essential sigils:

Remote Storage: Automatically notes and stores gathered resources

Enhanced Harvest: Triples resources from mining, fishing, woodcutting, and farming

With these active, skilling becomes incredibly efficient. You can gather massive quantities of resources with minimal risk and sell them for consistent profit.

An even stronger option is pickpocketing with the Sigil of Deception, which removes failure chance and auto-retries. You can make hundreds of thousands of cheap OSRS GP per hour early on and scale up to high-value NPCs like Vyres for blood shard drops. This method is also excellent for alt accounts.
